Today we went to one of Hitler's Concentration Camps.  There isn't much one can say about a place like this.  It was weird being there...somber perhaps.  Scary to think that the world could ever allow something like this to happen.  Then again it is happening now in portions of Africa and the world is turning a blind eye - so yes it can and is happening again.  Just a different group and race of people.  Sad.

This particular camp that we visited today was used mainly to hold people that the Nazis didn't like.  Handicapped people, gay people, those who opposed them, and some Jewish people.

Like I said...there isn't much to say.  Here are a few photos of Dachau.  It is set in the foothills along the Amper River, some 9 miles north of Munich.  It is a small town.
