After we visited Dachau we made some attempt to track down a cab.  :)  We finally managed to get a gas station attendant to make a phone call.  Shortly after that we were on our way to the Olympic Part!  Munich sponsored, as many will remember because of the events that unfolded here, in 1972.  They built, like all cities who host the Olympics, a large park to hold the sporting events in.  It is BEAUTIFUL!  The same guy who designed this has helped design dozens of other large structures - including the Denver Airport!

The name of the park is Olympiapark.  Frei Otto is the name of the person who helped design these buildings.

View of a part of the Olympiapark.  HUGE!

View of the football (Soccer) field.  Impressive!  This is where the opening and closing ceremonies are held as well.

Olympiapark - amazing architecture of the building

BMW Museum :)

View of Munich (part of it at least)

This is the BMW Headquarters - seen from above.  Not sure how
high up we were.  Not as high up as we were at the CN Tower
in Toronto.  Close though!

We ate at this restaurant...similiar to the CN Tower.  Revolving restaurant.  We
certainly had a nice view of the city!

NOW THIS IS THE CAR WE NEED!!!!!  Think of the gas mileage!

This one would work as well :)

Then at the end of the BMW Museum we found a place for Cheetah
to race!

Part of BMW's new building - you can see the headquarters to the right in the back.

Camera hog...

So we are all having a GREAT time in Munich.  David has meetings tomorrow so I believe Joey and I will go out and explore the city.  See how much trouble we can get into.
