This church is also known as the
"Cathedral of Our Blessed Lady") is the largest
church in
the
Bavarian
capital of
Munich.
Located in the city center at Frauenplatz 1, the
Catholic
cathedral is a major landmark and a popular tourist attraction.
Today, the cathedral and the
New Town Hall
dominate the city center, and its towers can be seen from all
directions.
Construction began in 1468!!!!

Man what an experience. You wake up in Toronto and then
you don't go to sleep and you step off a plane in Germany.
:) Feels a bit surreal at times around here. Loving
every minute of life though...I have discovered (as others have
as well) that things don't slow down. You either keep
moving or you find yourself looking back and regretting life
down the road. So I think I will keep moving. I am ready
to snow chase by the way. :) It is WAY too early to
be thinking about snow. I guess this year I am going to
have to get some MAJOR snow fixes!!!! Blizzard perhaps????

Waiting to hear from my friend Jason. They went down to
the Caribbean to Scuba Dive. Last I talked to him they
were up to their 28th dive!!! That is a lot of freakin
dives. Hopefully him and his wife got some good pics.
I need to work on getting a underwater lens protector for my
rebel. Would be nice to use something else than those
little cameras you buy at the dive shop. Will have to
figure that out before we go down to Australia in
October/November. |

Have you heard about Second Life??? This stuff is amazing.
Sort of makes you wonder where everything is going! Soon
people will be living inside their computers. This is a
HUGE industry.

It is 55 degrees this morning at 10 a.m. here in Munich.
:) FALL weather!
So we went to bed around midnight and were WIDE awake at 4
a.m. Don't you love jet lag. Went back to sleep at
6:30 a.m. and woke up at 10 a.m. :) Heading out for
the day! I have to take my final tonight...Criminal
Justice. Then the big final for meteorology is tomorrow.
Then I am finished with school for two weeks! Then back to
school after that! |
