Kyoto, Japan and onward to Tokyo, Japan

There are lions that guard the entrance of each temple.  One lion will have its mouth open
and the other closed.

Another peaceful location on the way to the temple that we are visiting today.  There
are so many places like this around Kyoto.  Amazing city.

This is holy water at one of the temple sights.  You are supposed to drink out of these 
cups and it will bring you long life and good fortune.

Looking from the temple towards the valley below.  You can almost see Kyoto through the haze.

OKAY WE ARE LEAVING KYOTO AND HEADING FOR TOKYO!

The high speed train that will take us to Kyoto - it can travel up to 300 km an hour.

We are now heading for Tokyo, Japan.  I have a feeling this city might make New York seem tame.  A totally different pace than Kyoto.
