MOVING THROUGH NOVEMBER...

Friday, November 11, 2005

Ok this is what I hope to see in Toronto next week :) SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW!  I will keep hope alive!

UNBELIEVABLE :)  IT HAS BEEN WARM HERE IN WESTERN KENTUCY.  Paducah is still more than 10 degrees above normal for the month!  That is a huge positive.

It is so warm that this is blooming in my backyard!

We made it to Toronto!  We had to leave this morning at 5 a.m.  It seemed like 3 a.m. to me :P  We made it safely though and all is well up here in the Great White North!  Had dinner with Doug and Erick and spoke with Norman on the phone.  Everyone seems to be doing okay.  It should be a great week.  It is always nice to return "home" and visit everyone.

Big tornado outbreak in Iowa last night.  It appears this is one of the bigger (imagine that) November outbreaks ever.  Several strong tornadoes caused extensive damage across portions of central and western Iowa.  This has been a nasty fall severe weather season so far.  The bad news is that it isn't nearly over.  A major severe weather outbreak is possible on Monday and Tuesday across the Ohio, Tennessee, and Missouri Valleys.

Mike Hollingshead took this photo of one of the Iowa tornadoes.

HANG ON FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS

BLIZZARD FOR PORTIONS OF THE MIDWEST AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND TORNADO OUTBREAK POSSIBLE FURTHER SOUTH...

GAMMA WILL FORM IN THE CARIBBEAN TOMORROW.  OUR RECORD BREAKING HURRICANE SEASON CONTINUES...UNBELIEVABLE.  :(

Had a great day here in Toronto.  Mother and I went to church this morning with Norman, Keri, and Shane.  It was so nice to see everyone.  I always miss my friends up here.  Norman and Keri were selling tickets for the Red Cross Fund Raiser next Friday Night.  This is Team Canada's fund raiser!  Everyone is excited and it appears it is going to be a great turkey dinner!

A beautiful church made up of beautiful people from around the world.  St Luke's is one of the most diverse churches I have ever been in.

Severe Weather Outbreak For Ohio/Tennessee Valley's

TORNADOES LIKELY ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY ON TUESDAY...

STAY TUNED TO YOUR LOCAL MEDIA FOR WEATHER BULLETINS AS THIS DANGEROUS WEATHER SITUATION UNFOLDS.

....

10 a.m.

New models are out and things look worse and worse.  People in the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys are in big trouble.  A significant outbreak of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes will likely occur on Tuesday.  All of the ingredients are coming together for an active day.

Everyone should stay tuned to their local media and NOAA Weather Radios for later information.

-----

Had a great time this evening with Keri and Doug and Erick.  We went to Canoe Restaurant.  Very nice!  Mother had a great time...along with everyone else.

Mother is going to the spa tomorrow...while I watch the tornado outbreak unfold.
