Ok so a BEAUUUTTTIIIFFFUUULLL morning in Destin.  I got up too early though.  I thought it was 10 a.m. :) it actually was like 6:30 in the morning.  Oh well - at least there was a photo-op out staring me in the face :)!  You have got to love the Gulf of Mexico.  I can hear the sound of the waves hitting the beach!  Soothing and peaceful.

HAPPY CANADA DAY FRIENDS!!!!!

CELEBRATE YOUR FREEDOM

Some rain has moved in :) Sooooooo War of the Worlds here we come :)  Hoping for a GREAT movie!

The movie :)

Ok well War of the Worlds was OK.  I give it a B-  The ending sucked.  :) heh  It was full of action though.  It did have me on the edge of my seat for about an hour.  I would imagine that would pretty much be realistic to how an actual attack would happen.  heh  People would run and scream and kill each other.  Everyone would have to fight for their own lives and their families.  Not the best movie of the year.  But a good one...none-the-less.

Joey in front of Crab Shack...nice place to eat :)  I had Maui Maui and Shrimp.

That would be me...all red from the sun today.  Eek.  heh

Scenic Highway 98 - runs all the way through Destin.   You can
drive this area and see the most beautiful houses.
Amazing views of the ocean as well!

Saturday...

Spent most of the day at the beach :)  Played Jungle Golf as well.  HOT outside!  Lots of clouds this afternoon and some big thunderstorms to our north.  Severe thunderstorm warning on the cell just north of Destin.  We are hoping for a nice storm here.  It might cool things down a little bit.  Windy...windy today.

Kristy is on her way down here from Birmingham.  She should be here around 1 a.m. tomorrow morning.  Can't wait to see her!!!!!

Tracking a possible tropical system moving through the Caribbean.  This could move into the Gulf of Mexico as early this coming week.  The system has the potential to become a tropical depression and or storm.
