June 20, 2007

Everything is moving along with the apartments...good news on all fronts today.  Sounds like we are close to deal on both locations.

I see I see...tomorrow is SUMMER!  I thought it was already summer!  As HOT as it has freakin been!!!!!  Time for WINTER!  BRING ON THE SNOW!  :)  Okay so I have to wait a few more months.  NOT TOO LONG THOUGH!

We are hoping to get some storms on Friday or Saturday around here.  Everyone still needs rain.  The drought isn't getting any better.  LET IT RAIN LET IT RAIN LET IT RAIN!

The deep red area means it is VERY dry.

So anyway...yeah yeah yeah - it is dry!  Rain will come.  It always does.  Just as long as it snows...I am happy.

Criminal Justice Class is moving along.  Trying to work ahead since I am leaving town next week.  Driving to Florida and then onward to Canada!  Sounds like Europe will be the middle of July now.  We shall see how that works out.  I will be happy to see all of my friends up there.  I MISS THEM!

I guess I might have some time in the coming month to set some new goals.  Not sure but I think I have about run the course on the goals I set in 2003 and 2004.  Need some new ones!  Just need to figure that out.  I know I want to come up with a master plan for the Shadow Angel Foundation.  It is nice now but nothing like what I want it to become.  I am thinking something BIG - but I just need to figure out the best direction.  Then I need some new goals as far as where I am wanting to live (at least part of the year).  Also the company!  It is growing fast.  What to do with it next.  Then there is school.  Finishing that up.  That will happen quickly.  Time isn't standing still you know.  :)

OH MAN!  I am jealous of Doug's view up in Toronto!  THINK OF THE SNOW PHOTOS!!!!  I am going to have visit during a big snowstorm.   Looking forward to seeing Doug in July!

In the Navy...lalalala :)  I hope they don't
draft Lucy.

Some new photos of Lucy down in
Birmingham.  She looks like she is being
mistreated.  :) NOT

My friend Sue is always traveling to Giant City State Park.  I am going to have to try and go with her at some point.  She has been donating her photos to the park.  I just love the Blue Bird Photo. The park has now posted it on their bulletin board in the Visitor Center that tells about their Blue Bird house project.

Here is the photo

Thursday - June 21, 2007

Wake up everyone...it is THURSDAY!  Good things always happen on Thursday (I just made that up).

Going to see Tyler play ball tonight...and Danielle!  They both have games.  Otherwise...well we will just see what today brings!

DROUGHT EXPANDS - UPDATED MAPS

Drought Impact Event

A water shortage watch was issued by the Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet for 61 counties in Kentucky, due to drought conditions and low water supplies. Water shortage watches are declared when drought threatens to deplete a normally adequate water supply. The 61 counties include Muhlenberg, Ohio, Simpson, Adair, Allen, Barren, Butler, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Edmonson, Green, Hart, Larue, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Nelson, Russell, Taylor, Warren, Anderson, Bath, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Nicholas, Owen, Scott, Shelby, Spencer, Washington, Woodford, Bell, Clay, Estill, Harlan, Jackson, Knox, Laurel, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, McCreary, Menifee, Owsley, Powell, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne, Whitley and Wolfe. Residents in these counties should abide by local restrictions on water use.

Still no word this evening on our apartments...their deadline has passed.  So we shall see if they call tomorrow.

Danielle also played ball...I wasn't able to get as many pictures of their game - there was a fence in a way and Danielle didn't bat while I was there.  She was pitching though!
