Mother is still in the hospital...may have to have surgery
tomorrow. She was worse last night and today.
Hopefully things will turn around and she won't have to go
through another surgery.

Mother is still in the hospital. A bit worse today than
yesterday. So she is not getting better. I believe
they will go ahead and do some sort of surgery tomorrow.
The surgeon is out of town today. Intestinal problems.
She will be okay...but I think she might be in the hospital
awhile. I guess we will have to sell her dog...I mean how
long can I possibly baby-sit this beat. :) I am sure
we can find a nice home for it. Mother would prob kill me
though...or never speak to me again. |

Did good on both of my 3rd quarters Meteorology Tests! 95
and 100!!!!! So two more big test to go in a few
weeks...the finals! Then we are done for this semester!
On to summer? :) Something like that. |

Stormy day in the Plains today...could be a significant outbreak
of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. If we get any
severe here it would most likely be on Friday Night into
Saturday Night. Uncertain though at this time. |

Heading to the hospital shortly. Mother is not much
better. Seems like there is some infection now. |

Well mother has made a nice recovery in the last 24 hours.
They are going to wait with surgery and see if all of this can
all work itself out. They don't like to do surgery on scar
tissue...it causes more problems. We are hoping she might
come home in the next couple of days. |

Severe weather likely on
Saturday across the region. Isolated severe possible
today. The bigger threat though will come with a cold
front on Saturday Afternoon. |

They have let mother come home. They are trying not to do
surgery. They told her that if this happens again then
they will have to do the surgery to try and resolve it. So
she is doing better today and hopefully will continue to do so! |

Possible straight line winds or a
tornado moved through our county tonight. We were on top
of it though and everything worked smoothly here! So I am
happy about that but not happy about the damage. Mobile
homes destroyed 10 miles northwest of me.
No warnings were issued by the weather
service on this one. We
will be going out with the Red Cross in the morning. Looks
like three mobile homes destroyed or damaged...one or two
houses...and some other damage to property. No injuries
though...thankfully. This was a 13 hour event...from start
to finish on watching it all form and so on. Better than
last years 48 hour+ storms. Hope we don't see that again
this year. That would wear anyone out.
Tuesday looks very rough around
here. We might do it all over again. |
